The intentional downing of Germanwings Flight 4U9525 by co-pilot Andreas Lubitz is not the first instance of a passenger plane being brought down on purpose. This article provides a brief overview of previous examples, including Mozambican Airlines Flight TM-470 and EgyptAir Flight 990.
